How to upload a video testimonial in Provoon

Direct answer

Choose Video under Import, upload the file, add a name and short context, then save. Approve the clip and place it on your Wall of Fame. Use this for Zoom exports, phone recordings, or files a customer already sent - not for pasting a YouTube URL (that is a different import).

Why add Video proof this way

Video lands harder than text, but files pile up on desktops. Uploading once into Provoon means the same clip can sit on the wall, in exports, and next to written quotes.

How to add a Video story in Provoon

  1. 1

    Open Import and choose Video

Under Add it yourself, pick Video.

  2. 2

    Upload the file

Select the mp4 or similar file from your computer. Wait until the upload finishes before you navigate away.

  3. 3

    Label the speaker

Add name, company if you have it, and a short caption so the wall is not a silent grid of faces.

  4. 4

Approve it if it lands in Collected

Open Collected (or your wall inbox) and approve the video entry when you want it public. Nothing shows on the live wall until you say so.

  5. 5

Add it to your Wall of Fame

In Curate or Wall of Fame, include the story in the layout you publish. Drag it where it fits - homepage proof, pricing strip, or a dedicated love wall.

  6. 6

    Publish and embed

Hit Publish on the wall, then Get Embed if you need the iframe on your site. Changes show up on the live embed after publish - no re-paste of the whole wall.

What gets saved

The video file, speaker details, optional caption or transcript fields you fill in, and approval state. Visitors see it as a video card on the wall once published.

Practical tips

  • Shorter clips (under a minute) play better on marketing pages.
  • Horizontal footage is easier for walls; vertical still works.
  • If the customer filmed on Loom or YouTube, use those imports instead of re-uploading.
