How to import a Reddit post or comment by pasting the link
Direct answer
Yes. Open the Reddit post, copy the full URL from the browser address bar - or on a comment use Share then Copy link. In Provoon Import choose Reddit, paste one link, and click Fetch from Reddit. Click Add on the preview - nothing goes public until you approve it and place it on your Wall of Fame or embed.
Why paste one Reddit link
Reddit threads already hold unfiltered buyer language - posts and comments that name outcomes, not polished case studies. Screenshotting into Canva is slow and easy to fake. Provoon takes the same reddit.com/r/.../comments/... link you already have open, loads that post or that single comment, and lets you Add only what is worth showing next to pricing or a Wall of Fame.
How to import Reddit into Provoon
- 1
Copy the Reddit post or comment URL
Open the thread in a browser. For the whole post, copy the full URL from the address bar - it should look like reddit.com/r/subreddit/comments/.... For one comment only, open that comment's Share menu and choose Copy link, then paste that deeper URL instead.

Paste one link in Provoon and fetch
In your wall, open Import, choose Reddit, stay on Import from URL, and paste into Reddit post or comment link. Paste one link only - a post link imports that post's text; a comment link imports that comment only. Click Fetch from Reddit.

Click Add on the preview
Provoon shows a Reddit post or comment preview with author, date, and text, plus View on Reddit to verify the source. Click Add if the quote helps buyers - skip vague or off-topic lines. You can fetch another link anytime.

Approve and show it on your Wall of Fame
Open Collected if the story needs approval, then include it in Curate / Wall of Fame or an embed. Imports and fresh collection submissions share one inbox, so Reddit quotes can sit next to LinkedIn, Google, or video you recorded in Provoon.
What gets saved from Reddit
Each Add stores the author name, post or comment text, date when available, a Reddit source badge (including subreddit when available), and the original URL as the linked source. Edit typos carefully without changing meaning. Only republish content you have the right to show - ask when consent is unclear.
Practical tips
- Paste one link only - post URL for the OP text, or a comment Share link for a single reply.
- Prefer specific, outcome-heavy comments over meme one-liners or off-topic threads.
- Confirm you are on the right post before copying - similar titles across subreddits pull the wrong quote.
- Nothing auto-publishes. Add, approve, then place proof near decisions (pricing, booking, CTA).
- If Reddit visibility or consent feels unclear, leave it out or ask again with a Provoon collection link.
FAQ
Do I need a Reddit API key?
No. Paste a public Reddit post or comment URL. Provoon does not ask you to create a Reddit app.
What Reddit URL should I copy?
For a post, copy the full URL from the browser address bar (reddit.com/r/.../comments/...). For one comment, use Share then Copy link on that comment so the URL points at the comment, not the whole thread.
Can I import an entire comment thread at once?
No. Paste one post link or one comment link per fetch. That keeps curation intentional - Add only the lines worth showing.
Do imported Reddit items publish automatically?
No. Click Add on the preview, then approve and place them on your Wall of Fame or embed like any other story.
Will new Reddit comments sync by themselves later?
Treat import as a curated pull, not a live mirror. When you want another quote, paste that post or comment URL and Add again.
