How to import Discord messages into Provoon
Direct answer
Copy the Discord message and username, choose Discord in Import, paste and save, then approve onto your Wall of Fame. Ask before quoting private servers. No Discord link scrape in Provoon yet.
Why add Discord proof this way
Product communities live on Discord. When a member writes that onboarding finally clicked, that sentence belongs on your site.
How to add a Discord story in Provoon
- 1
Copy the Discord message
Grab the text and display name. Skip bot spam and off-topic chatter.
- 2
Get a yes if the channel is private
Public announcement channels are simpler. DMs always need permission.
- 3
Paste via Discord in Import
Save and curate to the wall.
- 4
Approve it if it lands in Collected
Open Collected (or your wall inbox) and approve the Discord entry when you want it public. Nothing shows on the live wall until you say so.
- 5
Add it to your Wall of Fame
In Curate or Wall of Fame, include the story in the layout you publish. Drag it where it fits - homepage proof, pricing strip, or a dedicated love wall.
- 6
Publish and embed
Hit Publish on the wall, then Get Embed if you need the iframe on your site. Changes show up on the live embed after publish - no re-paste of the whole wall.
What gets saved
Message body and name tagged Discord.
Practical tips
- Remove invite links and server IDs before publishing.
- Emoji-only messages rarely earn a wall slot.
