How to import Capterra reviews by pasting the product URL

Yes. Open your product on Capterra, copy the full product URL from the browser address bar (usually capterra.com/p/...), paste it into Provoon Import under Capterra, and click Get Capterra reviews. Click Add on each review you want - nothing goes public until you approve it and place it on your Wall of Fame or embed.

Why paste the Capterra product URL

B2B buyers already trust Capterra for software comparisons - roles, industries, and outcome language next to alternatives. Screenshotting reviews into a deck is slow. Provoon takes the same /p/... product link you see in the address bar (Reviews tab is fine), loads matching reviews, and lets you Add only the quotes worth showing next to pricing or a Wall of Fame. How to import Capterra reviews into Provoon

    Copy the Capterra product URL from the address bar

    Search your product on Capterra and open the correct listing (check name and rating). The Reviews tab URL is ideal. Select the full URL in the browser address bar and copy it. A good link looks like capterra.com/p/12345678/Your-Product/ or with #reviews - not a category search results page.

    Paste it in Provoon Import and get the reviews

    In your wall, open Import, choose Capterra, stay on Import from URL, and paste into the Capterra URL field. Click Get Capterra reviews. Provoon saves that URL on each imported story as the personal / social link so visitors can still verify the source.

    Click Add on each review you want

    Provoon lists the fetched reviews with stars, date, title, and quote when available. Click Add on the ones that help buyers - skip vague one-liners or off-topic complaints you do not want on-site. Selective Add beats importing everything and cleaning up after.

    Approve and show it on your Wall of Fame

    Open Collected if the story needs approval, then include it in Curate / Wall of Fame or an on-site widget. Imports and fresh collection submissions share one inbox, so Capterra quotes can sit next to G2, Trustpilot, or video you recorded in Provoon.

What gets saved from each Capterra review

Each Add stores the reviewer name, star rating, review title and text when available, date when available, a Capterra source badge, and the product URL as the linked source. Edit typos carefully without changing meaning. Only republish reviews you have the right to show.

Practical tips

  • Prefer the full capterra.com/p/... product URL from the address bar over a truncated paste or a category search link.
  • Confirm the product listing before you copy - similar names can pull the wrong reviews.
  • Business plan fetches up to 100 reviews per run; start with specific, outcome-heavy quotes, not the whole dump.
  • Nothing auto-publishes. Add, approve, then place proof near decisions (pricing, product page, CTA).
  • If Capterra terms or consent feel unclear for a specific quote, leave it out or ask again with a Provoon collection link.

Will new Capterra reviews sync by themselves later?

Treat import as a curated pull, not a live mirror. When you want fresh quotes, paste the same product URL again and Add the new ones.
